There are currently four device types in Audiocube: Samplers, Emitters, Tickers, and Soundwalls. Each device serves different functions and allows users to interact with the spatial audio engine in unique ways. Every device type has a distinct User Interface (UI) window, which can be opened and closed by double-clicking or right-clicking the device.
Creating Devices
There are several methods for creating devices in Audiocube. Some methods are specific to particular device types.
The Browser Device Creator
In the top-right corner of the Browser window, you will see four icons representing the four core devices.
Create Device: Simply drag and drop one of these icons onto the stage in Audiocube to create a new instance of the corresponding device.
Cloning Devices
Most devices in Audiocube can be cloned for easier duplication and placement:
Clone Device: Hold the āCā key, click on a device, and drag the mouse to create a clone of the selected device.
By using these methods, you can efficiently populate your Audiocube stage with various devices, allowing for a more dynamic and interactive audio environment.
