Audiocube features a final Mastering rack for adjusting the combined output. All channels (other than the preview channel) are routed through the master bus, allowing for comprehensive control over the final sound.
Master Bus
The master bus is equipped with four hard-wired effects, which cannot be re-ordered. Here is the order of the signal chain from start to finish:
Color: Distort and modulate the signal with overdrive, a triple-headed chorus, and a flanger. This effect adds warmth, depth, and character to the sound.
Reverb: Design the reverberation of the output in precise detail with a highly flexible spatial reverb unit. This effect allows you to simulate different acoustic environments and enhance the spatial quality of the audio.
Mastering Compressor: Control the dynamics of the master output with a compressor unit inspired by the LA-2A and 1176 compressors. This effect helps to smooth out the dynamic range and add punch to the overall mix.
Mastering EQ: Set the final frequency balance with a precise 5-band parametric EQ. This effect allows you to fine-tune the tonal balance of the output, ensuring clarity and cohesiveness.
Accessing Mastering Controls
You can open each of the mastering controls using the buttons on the Mixer’s master channel. This allows you to make detailed adjustments to the final output, ensuring your audio project sounds polished and professional.
By utilizing these mastering tools, you can enhance the overall sound quality of your projects in Audiocube, achieving a balanced, dynamic, and immersive audio experience.
